The Crew Claims Department of the firm specializes in providing P & I Clubs, vessel owners and local agents both commercial and legal services.
Commercial Services are matters handled by experienced claims managers who arrange the medical treatment, monitoring and facilitation of benefits of medically repatriated and deceased seafarers. It also covers the arrangement for the receipt and transfer of deceased seafarers as well as their funeral arrangements. In gist, this department deals with all matters involving the seafarer before a formal Complaint is filed in the Courts.
Legal Services covers the defense of P & I Clubs, vessel owners and agents against legal cases filed by seafarers. This includes claims for disability and death benefits, termination dispute, underpayment of wages, among others. It also covers the prosecution of civil and administrative cases against seafarers.
